Focusing on the situation of international students in Germany this report tracks and compares their decision-making, expectations, perceptions and intentions. In addition, that benchmarking gives an overview of how German institutions are performing in terms of internationalisation. Good practice examples illustrate how selected German higher education institutions have sucessfully improved the level of support for their international students. “Findings from the International Student Barometer 2018 (2019)” provides useful information for German higher eduction institutions seeking to enhance their international students‘ experience and to further develop their marketing strategies.
